I am a UX designer with 10 years of small-business ownership experience. My passion is building things that help people. I became interested in designing for healthcare when I served as Vice Chair for a Federally Qualified Health Center. In that role, I saw first-hand how good (and bad) policy and design decisions could make a huge impact on our patients’ lives; and how critical it is to center design work around the people who need it. I’m happiest when my wife and I are chasing around (or being chased by) our son, and our boxer-mix, Nellie!
